Bhanu Pullela is a 20 year veteran of the financial services industry. Prior to SpendLabs, Bhanu Pullela worked in various senior positions in Marketing, Product, Pricing and Customer Experience in internationally recognized banks like Wells Fargo, Santander, Capital One, Citibank and also in innovative Technology start-ups like Metromile. He has deep experience in Payments, Credit & Debit Cards, Consumer Lending, Treasury & FX Remittance, and Personal Insurance. He did his BS in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, Madras and his MBA in Finance & Marketing from IIM, Lucknow.
As SpendLabs’ Chief Revenue Officer, Kareem is responsible growing the organization’s footprint within the banking and commercial payments segments globally. A thought leader in many respects, Kareem has more than 20 years of relevant experience and has worked with dozens of financial institutes and payments providers around the world.
Kareem’s previous experience includes senior management positions with Visa and MasterCard in product and executive sales. He has also spent a significant portion of his career working at Fintech’s such as Fraedom and as a management consultant and entrepreneur.
Kareem is a graduate of the University of Toronto’s Specialist Program in Management.
As a co-founder and the Chief Technology Officer of SpendLabs, Surender focuses on product strategy, product architecture as well as the security and scalability of the SpendLabs platform. He advises the engineering team on technical matters and designs significant software components.
Surender has more than 15 years of experience in building products in payments industry and has worked at TSYS after acquisition of Infonox before joining Spend Labs. He is highly experienced technical leader with the deep knowledge of payment industry especially in Merchant Acquiring and Card Issuing platforms.
As SpendLabs’ CEO, William Reid brings 20+ years of Payments & FinTech experience to the company. William has held leadership roles in strategy, product, marketing and finance at American Express, Visa, First Data and PayPal.
William has ten patents for risk mitigation, trade financing, data aggregation and derivatives management. He holds a BS in Economics from Niagara University, an MBA from George Washington University and is a Certified Treasury Professional from the Association of Financial Professionals.
Dev (Devendra) Shukla, is the founder of SpendLabs, Inc., a serial entrepreneur, a hands-on investor, and an engaged mentor. He has procured and delivered over two Billion dollars of services and products throughout the world. He has extreme passion for building world class teams focused primarily on solving customer needs. Over the past thirty years he has built five successful businesses, invested in five other companies, hired over 2,000 to 5,000 people, achieving 50% per year compounded growth over ten years.
Dr. Shukla is a Distinguished Alumni of Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and has a Ph. D. in probabilistic applications to engineering systems.
Bruce Ledesma is an experienced senior executive in the financial services and software industries. He is the Executive Vice President – Corporate Development of Mosaic, the leading fintech platform providing home improvement financing to the U.S. market. Bruce’s responsibilities include building strategic partnerships with regional banks and credit unions, sourcing venture capital and private equity investments, and overseeing technology transactions. Over the past 25 years, Bruce held various executive and board positions in the financial services, software and energy sectors, and practiced as a corporate attorney for a major global law firm. He has worked for multiple private and public companies from early stage growth through successful liquidity events. Bruce has a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
Amir focuses on developing strategic partnerships with banks and credit unions and has more than 15 years of specialty finance and capital markets experience at Mosaic, Prosper Marketplace, American Express, Prospect Capital, Bear Stearns, and Chevron.
